April Fools

“I’m going to watch it growing”

For the past year of my life Peter Gabriel has been following me and recording every movement that I make (physical and bowel). His obsessive cataloging of my every move will eventually be unveiled at a website that he is painstakingly building every day of his life. I am Peter Gabriel and Peter Gabriel is me and there is no going back. Also he’s going to make a giant robot version of me and him combined and it will be impressive.

Technically, this project began in 1986 with the release of the song BIG TIME from Peter’s album “SO”. The song was laced with hints about how Peter’s obsession with me was growing. I was 6 at the time so Peter couldn’t be super direct about his fascination with my aura. Lines like “The place where I come from is a small town, They think so small, They use small words, But not me, I’m smarter than that, I worked it out, I’ve been stretching my mouth, “To let those big words come right out.” may not have been obvious in 1986 but in 2016 they stick out: even at an early age Peter Gabriel knew that I was going to be grow up and become a cyborg that eventually use powers unknown to humans to take over the world. IT’S ALL THERE FOLKS.

My parties all have big names
And I greet them with the widest smile
Tell them how my life is one big adventure
And always they’re amazed
When I show them ’round my house, to my bed
I had it made like a mountain range
With a snow-white pillow for my big fat head

People have told me that I am crazy but it is really all there. You just have to listen to the song on repeat for one week straight and read the lyrics for at least 4 hours every day. Big Time is the way forward for us all. We can all transcend our human bodies and our weak minds and become something bigger.

So much larger than life
