MAY 2026 was a very “Justin listens to THE CARS a lot” kind of month. I have really been into the back half of the band’s catalog, primarily SHAKE IT UP and HEARTBEAT CITY, but also including their 2011 album MOVE LIKE THIS. I also spent a lot of time listening to TOOL because Aero discovered them, and wow did they take to their music and insane time signatures quite well. We watched “Eddie and the Cruisers” and the movie still holds up for me. The music is just so great.
